hey- I read this earlier today and have been thinking about it quite a bit since. I don't think you are an idiot. You are extremely smart but maybe a little too smart for your own good. Meaning that you have never had to work really hard for something because things come easily to you (because you ARE smart and fabulous). Unfortunately, I think that means that now you find yourself in a situation where you are going to have to create opportunities for yourself and that's a scary thing.

I have to say that I was surprised when you decided to pursue the law thing. I think you would be quite good at it but I wonder if it's something you truly have a passion for. I've always thought you should do the fashion/theater thing. You have such a natural talent for it and you've always loved it. And having a true passion for something is what sustains you when the going gets tough (as it inevitably does with anything).

Don't be so hard on yourself. You are an incredible person. Take advantage of this time to do some more soul searching about what is truly important to you. How do you want to be able to look back on your life? You're not on a deadline to make any life changing decisions so don't jump into anything too quickly.
