Montpelier is just too damn small for a wedding--and I apparently have more friends than I originally thought.  So I've decided finally on my first choice, the Newton White Mansion (see pictures in previous posting).  The date will be July 25, 2009, and anyone who complains about the heat will be whacked on the back of the head by a designated

cool. i guess montpelier doesn't really have any big hall type areas, if you didn't want everything to be outside. how much of it can you rent, anyway? the other place looks pretty cool too.

You only get two pretty small rooms in Montpelier, which are on separate wings, and the rest of the place is off-limits. You're pretty much stuck outside if you want something for more than 10 people, so that means if it rains you're screwed.
