So today was my concert, and the only person that came (besides familia) was Julia. You all missed my awesomely spectacular solo (which was accentuated by the fact that I had no air control, and we had no energy). (but it's okay, because mill creek's got a central market now, which means i have a pocky supply within walking distance. *___* now, if only they'd start making unagi sushi and selling laoganma and better mochi, i'd die of happiness.)

unagi = grilled eel. sounds nasty, but it is ZOMG good (most asians wouldn't know this; it's a sushiphile thing.)

mochi = sticky rice cake. so, so good. (i didn't know this one until recently but apparently it is fairly common knowledge?)

laoganma = brand of chili/bean/hot sauce that is FAFL;SKDFJ !!!! yum. i get all starry-eyed over it. it's excellent. when i'm in college, i'm going to live on ramen, and all my ramen will be flavored with laoganma because noodles aren't good unless they're spicy enough to make you cry, dammit. >D (this is a sichuanese thing. we likes our food spicy, we does.)

so really, even the average asian couldn't be expected to know 2/3 of this.
