■あらすじ：
ダンブルドア側に寝返った元デスイーターのスネイプは、ドラコが父親を追ってデスイーターになるのを阻止しようと、彼に「自ら考え」行動することを教えようとする。スネイプの教えに、親から譲り受けた価値観が次第に揺らぐのを感じるドラコ。
そんなある日「十七歳になる誕生日(クリスマス翌日という設定)には帰省しなさい」との手紙が家から届く。それはルシウスが、成人するドラコをデスイーターにすることを意味していた。「クリスマス休暇はホグワーツに残りなさい」と諭すスネイプに、ドラコは言い放つ。「今度の誕生日、僕はデスイーターになるか、それとも貴方の恋人になります。それは、教授、貴方次第ですよ」
果たしてスネイプはドラコを、父親の手から、そして、闇の世界から救うことが出来るのか。
