No, I was not in a car crash.
I know you people may worry with a title like that.
I saw a car crash yesterday. I've never seen a crash like it, not on a screen. One of the cars involved literally rolled in the air. About three times. It was impressive. Also, it convinced me wearing a seatbelt and having airbags is a really, really good idea. The guy in the car that rolled got away with a few abrasions on his hand and a lot of shock.
I couldn't really help the guy. I didn't have my cellphone with me, or anything he could use as a bandage. I left after five minutes. I couldn't help and I figured I'd get in the way just standing there. Immediately after the crash one guy called an ambulance and possibly the police. He'd also taken charge of the driver. Another guy with a cellphone had rush onto the scene and was helping too. About a minute after the crash a police officer in his car arrived. He called for back-up. I thought at this point I should clear out. I hadn't seen the event that caused the crash, so I would be no help as a witness and I could provide nothing that wasn't already being provided. I didn't want to be a gawker, so I left.
It's weird the whole event slipped my mind last night.
