(no subject)
I couldn't sleep so about 40 minutes ago I got out of bed to look out the window. Naturally, I walked into a bedpost, slamming my eye quite nicely. I then had to quietly run down the stairs to the kitchen where I promptly opened the freezer and put a bag of frozen carrots on my eye instead of the intended ice pack. What a lovely way to start my trip. I'm probably goint to have a nice shiner to show off in a few hours, and I can tell people that I got into a fight with a bed post.
The cab is going to arrive at my house in less than 4 hours. Then it'll take me about 18 hours from my door to arrive at the condo in Maui. Then I think I shall fall over.
Ah btw, I figured out that I'll actually be getting back September 2nd because the flight is so long.
Strangely, I'm hungry. Cheese and crackers sound mighty appealing right about now.
