ENOUGH TO MAKE YOU CRY
I've never spent so much time on the roof as I have in the past few days... babysitting a suddenly bold Octavian.
He keeps finding ways to get through our make-shift pen and appearing on the side that I sit.
I have to carry him back over to his territory, but that does not seem to discourage him.
I love to watch him wrestle with his food bag, or stroke his ears so that they flatten against his back. Octavian is the only man for me.
This morning the kitchen drilling was done at the cost of my sanity, and I was reduced to tears.
For such a deaf person, I seem to be really sensitive to noise?!
I have to make sure to be far from my house when there are tremors to be felt beneath my feet.
Poor, poor Octavian.... We both need to be somewhere calm and serene.
Today I went to Sara's and we planned our Europe trip with an atlas open.
At hers, I stuck a clump of fake individual lashes on the freckle on my cheek so that it looked like hair. Hahahahaha.
Tiff knew it was fake straight away, Kevin was indifferent... but Rei fell for it, absolutely hilarious.
I finally wore my overalls again, I had forgotten how much I adore them :)
Tonight's family dinner was Kevin's choice, and of course we ended up at some "makan sutra" place.
Somewhere in Geylang, where the food somehow totalled up to be $365.... Crab beehoon for $120!
And I ate snails. $70 for 2kg... well, whatever pleases dad.
Tiff thinks we got ripped off because we were obviously not local. We'll be eating at the hawkers for the next nights to come.
