15th September 1999. 1 AM. Sho entered his hotel room - exhausted, but happier than ever. A few hours ago together with Ohno, Nino, Aiba and Jun he debuted as Arashi on probably one of the most beautiful islands on earth - Hawaii. He walked towards his bed, let himself fall onto it and put his hands on his face. Was this real? Did he really just have his debut? Sho stared on the ceiling, thinking about everything that happened that day. Suprisingly the first thing that sprung into his mind wasn’t the ride on the boat or their performance; it was the nervous Aiba who almost fainted before their big show.
Sho had to smirk when he thought about how scared his bandmate was. His thoughts got deeper and he started to think about Aiba a bit more… which suddenly made his heart beat faster. Surprised of his own reaction he sat up and put his hand on the side of his chest where his heart was. His thoughts were suddenly disturbed by someone knocking on the door of the hotel room. Sho snapped out of his confusion and slowly got up to see who was disturbing him at that time of day. As he opened the door Aiba's innocent looking face was gazing at Sho.
Out of all people it was Aiba - the reason why Sho suddenly felt a bit uneasy.
“Everything okay Aiba-kun?” Sho tried not to make that much eye contact because he felt like Aiba could sense what he thought about earlier and how he started to feel about it.
“I am not used to sleep in a room alone and I can’t fall asleep” Ashamed Aiba looked down on the floor “Can I maybe spend the night in your room?” Sho was relieved that Aiba didn’t look at his face in that moment, because his eyes widened and his mouth slightly fell open. But as he watched Aiba who seemed to be seriously bothered by this issue, he opened the door a bit more and let his bandmate enter the room.
Aiba - who was already in his pyjamas - headed to the double bed and sat on the right side of the big bed. Sho watched the younger man and was still standing at the door, because he didn’t quite know what to do. Should he talk to him? Should they just go to sleep? And why the hell was he thinking so much about it? It was just Aiba… right?
Sho slowly went towards the bed and quickly changed into his pyjamas before Aiba could turn and see him half-naked. Afterwards he sat down on the left side of the bed and slowly turned to Aiba who was still just sitting there. Sho looked at Aiba's back and noticed how his pyjamas were slightly transparent in the moonlight that was shining through the big window. His heart started to jump even more and he had to breathe in deeply before he was going to get crazy.
“Let’s sleep” Sho said quickly and shook his head hoping that his thoughts were going to disappear. Aiba glanced over his shoulder and nodded before he slipped under the blanket.
The room was dark - the only light that filled the room was the bright moon outside. It felt awkward; they were lying next to each other, but no one was saying a single word. Sho felt like he should say something, but before he was even going to think about it, he heard a strange sound coming from Aiba's side. He quickly looked at his bandmate and saw him shiver - the blanket was not the thickest and at night it got pretty cold on the island. As he watched Aiba shiver, his mind went blank for a moment and he reached for the taller man. He moved Aiba closer to his chest, to make sure that he won’t get a cold and that he was warm. Sho didn’t really think about his actions, he just reacted in that moment and followed what his heart was telling him to do.
“Sho-chan…” Aiba whispered surprised and looked into Sho's face. But the older boy just shook his head and closed his eyes.
“Sleep, Aiba-chan. We have lots of work to do tomorrow” he said quickly and tightened his grip around Aiba's shoulders. The younger man smirked and buried his head into Sho's chest before he fell to sleep.

The sun slowly entered the room and Sho woke up when he heard the birds singing outside. He yawned quietly and looked at Aiba who was still sleeping peacefully in his arms. He felt Aiba's lips and breath on his neck which made Sho smiling brightly. He stroked the taller man's hair and his other hand was slowly going up and down his bandmate's spine. Suddenly he felt something kissing his neck - the taller man was awake and showed Sho one of his typical bright smiles. Both of them whispered “Good Morning” and Sho snuggled his face to Aiba's before he gave him a soft kiss on his lips.
“Ne, Masaki” Sho started and looked in Aiba's eyes “Do you remember the first night that we spent together alone? After our debut?” Aiba immediately nodded and smirked even more than before. “I can’t believe that night was about 13 years ago. Time flies by so fast.” Sho was expecting an answer from his lover, but he just heard Aiba giggle and saw that his cheeks were flushed. Confused he looked at his partner and raised his eyebrow.
“What’s so funny? You were quite scared that evening, as far as I remember” But Aiba was giggling even more than before and put once again his innocent face on, his puppy eyes staring at Sho. That night he wasn’t scared of being alone and he was able to fell asleep by his own, but he wanted to be near Sho. Ever since he met Sho for the first time - when they were still juniors - he wanted to be near the older man… and that night he created the bond between them - even if he had to help along a bit.
But instead of telling Sho the truth behind his purpose that day he just kissed his lover passionately and grinned. “I love you, do you know that?”
Sho grinned and nodded “And I love you too, Masaki.” He answered before hugging Aiba tightly and kissing his forehead. “You are sometimes one weird guy, you know?” Of course Sho wanted to know what his boyfriend was giggling about, but he didn’t think about it any longer. Aiba nodded in agreement and smiled even more. One day he will maybe tell Sho the whole truth… but only maybe.

Comment: I am back with another fanfiction. Yesterday I was trying to fall asleep, but somehow this storyline got stuck into my head and I immediately had to write something down. It's another fluffy story - maybe not as fluffy and cheesy as the first one. I once again apologize for every grammar/spelling-mistake that may be in there! Write me if you like it (or if you have anything else to say about it :P)
