Top 10 - Arashi ni Shiyagare (Blog)
The title pretty much says it. With this (more or less) little entry I will introduce you my personal Top 10 of the best Arashi ni Shiyagare episodes.
Shiyagare was the first Arashi Variety show that I saw and I immediately fell in love with the concept of not knowing who the guest is going to be and learning different things from their aniki guests.

2011.09.03, Aniki guest(s): 千原ジュニア、後藤輝基、有吉弘行、平成ノブシコブシ
(Chihara Junior, Gotou Terumoto, Ariyoshi Hiroiki & Heisei Nobushikobushi)
Do you remember the legendary Sakuraiba moment when Sho confessed that he likes Aiba's sleeping face? Thanks to Chihara Junior we have this supersweet Sakuraiba moment.. thanks Junior-san! Apart from that moment I just adore Nobukobu and Gotou-san and the stories they were talking about. (Especially the rumour about Nobukobu's Yoshimura being in a relationship with Watanabe Naomi, whom I also love! I think they would make a really cute couple.)

2013.03.16, Aniki guest(s): スギちゃん (Sugi-chan + various Japanese comedians)
I love Japanese comedy. Even if I do not understand everything completely, just the way that they transfer the jokes is freaking hilarious. That's why this episode has to be in my Top 10! I cracked up about (almost) each and every one of them and especially when Arashi had to do their own skits. My favourites: Dandy Sho and Nino Youku.

2011.05.07, Aniki guest: 佐々木蔵之助 (Sasaki Kuranosuke)
Okay, next to Sasaki Kuranosuke being an awesome actor and looking like the Japanese version of my personal idol (Farin Urlaub, btw), a big part why this episode is my favourite is Mr. Aiba Masaki. I swear he looked freaking effing hot in this episode - the hair and the clothes and just Aiba in general. This man, my feels. *sighs*

2011.01.22, Aniki guest: 松山ケンイチ (Matsuyama Kenichi)
Aomori-Time! Matsuken on Shiyagare! Yay! I was really happy to see Matsuyama Kenichi appearing on AnShi because I really worship him as an actor. And until that certain episode I didn't know that he is such an out-of-space-kind-of-character. Instead of teaching Arashi something about Aomori (his home prefecture) he let the host (Gotou Terumoto at that time) do the teaching and Matsuken was just standing next to him, not listening and switching off. And we cannot forget to mention the Nino shirt he was wearing for promoting "Gantz" - you are doing it the right way, Kenichi.

I don't know if I mentioned this before, but I have a thing for yankii (Japanese "delinquents"). Ever since my Japanese teacher told us about them and the language they use, I am really interested in that kind of Japanese subculture. Yes, I even cosplayed as a yankii once. And I freaking loved it. I want to wear my yankii coat on a daily basis, buuuut I guess that wouldn't be a good idea here in Austria... haha. Back to Kishidan and their awesomeness appearance! I love their style, but also their music and each one of their characters. Especially the leader, Sho (who is adorable) and "Mister Soysauce" xD Also... Sho-chan being Sho-san (oh god this is getting complicated haha) at the end? Freaking hot.

Let's make Arashi ni Shiyagare to Kanjani ni Shiyagare 2.0! The second AnShi episode with the guys from Kanjani; this time with all seven Eighters! (The first episode from 2011 was with just five of them, Maru and Nishikido not participating). I love listening to old stories from Arashi and Kanjani which is one of the reasons why I really like this episode. And how cute was Maru when he confessed that he is a Nino fanboy? Or when he started to dance and his face got red like a tomato afterwards? Or the Magical Banana round? THERE ARE SO MANY THINGS THAT I LOVE ABOUT THIS EPISODE (arrrrgh).

2011.02.05, Aniki guest: 青木隆治 (Aoki Ryuji)
Did I ever tell you that I love monomane (impersonation)? Because I love them. And Aoki Ryuji is a master of impersonating different singers and bands. I was stunned by his talent and how accurate his monomane sounded. Plus I think he is adorable. Always smiling and just having a positive aura! That's actually really nice ^_^ I wonder if he and Aibacchi are still going out eating together like they said on the show.

2011.07.16, Aniki guest: GACKT
Oh, one of my first episodes! And a brilliant one! I remember watching it (without really knowing GACKT) and I was like - oh my God. This person. This voice. This everything. Just everything. In other words I immediately fell in love with GACKT. Really, don't blame me, blame this man! Even Oh-chan fell for him! I love this episode from the beginning to the end - the talk was funny, their "How to learn about GACKT's perfect life"-lesson was hilarious and - holy mother of god - Sho looked extra fine in this episode. I cracked up about Sho cursing that his pants were too tight and I was just like... "Thank you stylist for putting Sho into extra tight trousers today (even if he didn't really enjoy it)"

2012.03.10, Aniki guest: 生田斗真 (Ikuta Toma)
My first ever Shiyagare episode. Yay yay! I watched it last year in Japan - not on TV, but from a Toma subbing group here on livejournal. I have to say that I watched it more for the sake of Toma and I was reaaaally confused about the whole concept and what the Arashi boys were talking about, but after watching it for the nth (btw I hate this word, especially in fanfictions, but it fits right now) time I got into it and even now I watch it from time to time. Just how cute is the Arashi-Toma-action? ♡ I love how they crack up about old times and stories - it feels really natural and like they are wholeheartly enjoying it. A must for every Johnny's fan!

Of. freaking. course. Number 1 have to be my boys of Golden Bomber. Because of Shiyagare I got to know them, and just because of that I had to make this episode my No.1! But other than that I simply love it. I mean, isn't there anything better than two fandoms colliding? And since this is going to be one of the few events of Arashi and Kinbaku being together on television, I will rewatch this forever and ever and ever (I think the fangirly-me is coming out again, woops). I especially love the bonding between Kenji and Aiba who are now in the same baseball team. ♡ Just the thought of those two spending some of their free time together makes me - as stupid as it sounds - incredible happy. (and Aiba getting to see Kenji's naked face makes me jealous. I really envy you, Aibacchi.)

It was really hard to choose a Top 10, because there are so many other Shiyagare episodes that are hilarious (e.g. Suzuki Fuku, Oguri Shun, Matsuda Ryuhei, Takahashi Katsumi, Oizumi Yo, AND AND AND) - I just recommend the show to everyone out on this planet. Because of Shiyagare I got to know half of the Japanese artist/comedy/music-world which I am really grateful for.
WATCH IT! It's worth it! (and let's pray to God that there is some Narimiya Hiroki or Tsumabuki Satoshi action happening on Shiyagare anytime soon, because I am craving for an episode with one of those two. *///*)
