That's very sweet, thank you <3<3 I can't die at least until I read the last chapter of your story, can't I? :3
Oh, no, no, don't worry about disappointing anyone. This is your story, and you had it planned like that. Making it longer just because you don't want to disappoint would be like... Oh, I know the perfect example! It would be like How I Met Your Mother. The story is what it is, and trying to stretch it because of the people you don't want to disappoint, in the end, is going to affect you.
In the long run it's better to write something you're satisfied with than not writing what others want you to write. Because if you're lucky, then you'll get to a point where you'll have two groups of readers with opposite opinions and you couldn't please anybody. So go for what you want to write, and the rest will come itself :D
And your story is perfect the way it is!! Believe me! :3 If, while you write, you find that what you wanted to tell doesn't fit in another chapter, then it's fine, but don't make it longer if it doesn't feel right to you.
The reason why people is so surprised (and it's surprise, not disappointment) is because you didn't say anything for the last chapters. They are used to writers to start telling the end is near waaaay before it's actually there. But that doesn't mean you have to do it too or something like that.
(Now it seems like I'm lecturing you DDD: Pleasepleaseplease don't take it like that. You can do whatever you want with your stories, even if that is making it longer to please your readers. I'm just voicing my unwanted? opinion)
... talk about writing too much.
"I always want to portray all the characters as realistic as possible or as human as possible"
I noticed, and you do that very well. I absolutely adore it.
(I ended up learning nothing today because something happened in another fandom and there was this kind of fandom spazzing and explosion and... you might have noticed on tumblr, though, now that I think about it xDDD Sorry about that xD)
Thanks for the cheering anyway. I think I'll need it.
I really feel better now.. thank you ♥ Even if I would never say it out loud, I give pretty much about the opinions of other people.. I got insecure, especially since my writing skills right now are a mess.. but thank you for your words, they really mean a lot to me and cheered me up ♥♥ Your opinion is never unwanted by the way! :3
& I absolutely love the comparison with HIMYM o-o it's.. so true. so so true! (unfortunately..)
yeah, I saw that something big must have happened! haha, but that's great isn't it? well the learning-part not so much, but the (awesome?) happening in the fandom (;
thank you again.. and yes you can't die until you read the last chapter. and in general. don't die on me (oh god that sounds so fanfic'ish... it's taking over my mind)
ah and today I've to learn too, so I wish us both a happy learning (if that does even exist)
