shopping adventure

Jun 22, 2008 16:16

I had to have a break from irish dance costumes (plus I needed to by some dye for my hair as I must have about 2 inches of grey regrowth - yikes!!!) so my eldest daughter and I went for a shopping trip.

This is what I picked up ....

TSkaffs are closing down and had patterns going out a $2 each and picked up these ...

Not sure how  I will EVA get my husband in these - but good to have in stash.

Thought I would buy this, I like the bodice and at $2 I ain't complainin'.

At this point in my search my eldest was nagging me to hurry up so spied these and just bought them - I didn't check the size 18 to 22 - BOTHER.  I check all the others to make sure of the size except for these - but hey $2 each *shrug*.   I could just use them to get an idea of the pattern and size down.

Skaffs officially closes it's doors Monday week so I will be there next weekend for trimmings for the ball gown (I need to have a swatch of my fabric with me)

Lastly, spied these while eldest was in Target looking at boots and were reduced to $13 and I thought they were pretty good for the ball.  I will probably trim them up a bit with ribbons etc.
