Продолжаю раз в месяц делиться с ванкуверцами и гостями нашего города списком запланированных мероприятий и событий, о которых мне известно. Список пополняется в течение месяца.
О многих предстоящих событиях можно узнать в рубрике "Афиша" газеты "Ванкувер и мы", в которой публикуются мои разноцветные мыслишки. (Список точек, где распространяется газета - здесь).

Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Classical Chinese Garden
The Garden is pleased to co-present the Chinese New Year Celebration in the Courtyard. The event is quickly becoming a part of the Chinese New Year parade day celebration.

The courtyard-fair atmosphere, coupled with the cross-cultural performances, provide an opportunity for artists from Vancouver’s different cultural backgrounds to display their creativity and collaborate to create new sounds for a traditional festival.

20 Interactive workshops lead by professional performers include Storytelling, Filmmaking, Circus, Drumming.
3-й ежегодный детский фестиваль искусств представляет собой уникальную возможность для детей (6-12 лет) принять участие в практических интерактивных семинарах под руководством профессиональных артистов и художников. Малышам возможно будет интереснее в утренние часы. Их ждет face painting и разное другое.
Фестиваль начнется в 10 утра и продлится до 3 часов дня. На входе можно взять программку с раписанием всех мероприятий в этот день. Подробнее здесь.

28. Множество интересных мероприятий в честь годовщины Олимпийских Игр проходит сейчас не только в Ванкувере, но и Ричмонде. В прошедшие выходные все желающие совершенно бесплатно имели возможность поплавать в бассейне в Minoru Sports Pavilion, покататься на коньках, поиграть в теннис или заняться другими видами спорта в Richmond Olympic Oval.
