I just got back from my first class of my five this semester, Organizational Behavior. I have this professor for another class in approximately 45 minutes, a Human Resources class.
Initial reaction: no fashion sense. Blackish blazer (looked more like a men's jacket to me, no shape to it atall), brown shoes, lime green top, and a pretty big floral print knee-length skirt. Didn't really go so well together, overall.
Secondary reactions: Interesting reaction to people coming in late, very genuine, very put-on-the-spot-ish. I'm not a fan of name tents. My classmates do not strike me as all too interesting, but I imagine I don't come off as interesting either.
There are a few elements to some of these classes that I'm not looking forward to. The mention of 'role playing' scenarios and splitting us up into groups does not appeal to me. However, it's something I'll just come to accept as part of my management education, I expect. Overall, I haven't seen evidence that my introversion will result in a negative response, I'll just have to be patient.
Course material seems interesting. More than I imagine I'll be saying for my Legal class. Time will tell. Expect further updates as the day progresses.
