Listening to U2's new CD, purchased with the iTunes gift certification my darling sister gave me for my birthday. I'm going up to visit them (les deux) in the beginning of la Decembre. They're flying me up to Raleigh for a few days, which is really nice of them. I really must figure out Christmas gifts for them. Because they're awesome.
It's that time of the semester again. That time where the world narrows and the world enters a state of fraternal tunnel vision. I don't mind it as much as other people do. But, then, I'm good at hiding in my room.
Work is going well. The past two days have thankfully been very slow, because my sleep schedule's really weird at the moment. I don't care too much about the money, but it is definetely nice to have -something- to do.
Mario Kart DS comes out today. Gonna run and pick up a copy (a couple, actually, since not all of us have the schedule freedom to flee to a mall in the middle of the day right now) later today. I'm eagerly anticipating it. They say it's the best Mario Kart game yet. And Nintendo's first true stab at their new wireless networking thing... I'm very excited for the prospects this game represents.
A good amount odd relationship stuff going on of late. Not in my relationship mind you. My relationship is working and happy, unless I'm misinformed or crazy, both of which are distinct possibilities with me. But I'm happy. No, the odd stuff is going on with my friends. Now, I swore off giving relationship advice after Anne and I started dating. But one of the truisms of our relationship has been the simple fact that doing what works right in the moment is all you really need sometimes. Plans, machinations, goals... fuck it. Just jump. It just seems to work out so much better that way. The truth, it seems, is hidden within our much-vaunted plans and ideas.
Anyway, I think I'll stop talking now. I just wanna sit and listen to some music. Good stuff.
