I have much to learn!

Technology is amazing, isn't it?  I would love to learn everything there is about computers and how to use them, but I think it would take all my time to do so, and I really want to sew, knit, crochet and read!  (in addition to all the mundane things one must do to survive in live)

I haven't been doing much lately.  My allergies have been really rolling and I'm sneezing and blowing all day.

I have four rows of crochet to put on the small purple scarf I'm making for a Christmas gift before I can call it finished.  The scarf I'm knitting for my mom to use for everyday is still sitting there not even a fourth of the way finished.  I have prepared two patterns for tops for myself to layout on material and cut out.  Since that is my least favorite part of sewing, I'm not surprised that it still waits for me.  I can't think wear is the best area for me to do that part here.  The cats will be all over me and make it difficult for me to pin and cut... sigh.  Excuses, I know.  Annie's pretty pink coat is still in a bag calling out to be started, but there again, I need to lay it out and cut it out before I sew it.

I finished reading a book tonight.  I wasn't that thrilled with it, but of course, I had to finish it to find out the mystery, didn't I?  Have to admit I did an awful lot of skimming through the pages.

Jack is going to be leaving for Ohio Thursday for a week.  I hope he will be able to be with his father in peace and enjoy the little time  there is left for them.  Hospice has been called in, and I hear that once they are called, time is short.  I pray Mike is able to spend his last days in little pain and no regrets.  This brings back my own sad memories of my dad's last days.  I miss him very much.
