❧ seventh: jintori game~
Eeee yay! I asked Saigi if she could get me a couple of copies of Jintori Game volume 3 and...in ridiculously fast shipping time that I am not accustomed to (SERIOUSLY SAIGI WHEN YOU DID SEND THESE COS IT SEEMS LESS THAN A WEEK).
I'm still kind of iffy on the front jacket cover, mostly because ew...that's a really bold yellow. But the poster is gorgeous and lol Fujiomi on the back cover REALLY looks like Tamaki now sob. I WISH HE WERE BIGGER AND NOT JUST IN THE BACK. /shoves Shoui away.
Also I am fairly certain Ohkami a) filled out some of these chapters (as in added like 10 pages to at least one chapter) and b) actually included the screentone in the pages that originally did not. I have to double check but I'm fairly certain.
...Which puts me at a quandary because I prefer the original online versions as they're actually more HQ than from the volume, sob. That and I'm still kind of staring at my scanner. It's great, don't get me wrong. Especially for documents and making PDFs. But for scanning manga pages...the ADF isn't as effective for the pages. In fact it does a weird line thing on the scans. Flatbed scans are great, but the ADF component wasn't designed for image scanning like solo ADF scanners sometimes are. And the ADF is great for doing mass chapter scans rather than having to the longer and more arduous scanning process via flatbed.
Le sigh.
Either way I'm excited though fff it's been so long since we actually released a chapter. LIFE STOP GETTING IN THE WAY.
