Onyx Update
Damn, that lab is fast. Dr. Future-father-of-my-babies called and the kidney and liver levels have gone up again. But the important kidney level, phosphorus, hasn't gone up. It's still very normal. That is the decider for whether he has stage 2 or 3 kidney failure. So that's good. The white blood cells haven't changed much, but they're still high.
Dr Ffomb is putting Onyx on another antibiotic in conjunction with the one we got last night. This is to treat cholangeohepatitis that is probably what is affecting the high liver and wbc counts. We will reassess in 2 weeks and see if that's working. If not, I'll agree to the liver biopsy.
