I've officially decided I think too much. Seriously. There's an incredible on-going dialogue that I really hadn't noticed before. I compose things I'll never write down, rehearse conversations I'll never have and generally comment on the state of the universe. Can't quite decide if it's unhealthy or not. You do not think too much. Grr. I'll kill society for making us believe there's a limit to how much healthy thought we can have. Ever read this? I don't know who wrote it ( ... )

Question, comment, compose, and imagine all you can, whenever you can! (But you knew we were going to say that, didnchya?) Of course, there's something to be said for trying to keep it constructive, too. It's far too easy to get stuck in inner dialogues such as:

Inner Voice 1: You suck.
Inner Voice 2: You suck so much.
Inner Voice 1: You are lame.
Inner Voice 2: So lame.
...&c

in which case a little distraction (such as reading a deep book or having a philosophical conversation, for instance, not all distractions are low-brow brain melters) might not be a bad idea. Action being the best cure for melancholy, and all that.

I've never really read or heard too much about Cobain, but I'd be interested to find out. I'll see if I can pick up a copy of that book, though with one thing and another it may be a long time before I finish it.

Damn. Turns out the main school library here doesn't have it. I'll keep my eyes open, but it may take me far longer to start the book, let alone finish it, than I intended.
