Bishie Tezuka is really frightening...
Today was supposed to be my date with Cherith to watch the end of So You Think You Can Dance (spoil me and you DIE), but she has a mouthful of ulcerous canker sores and is being carted off to the doctor by her mum. So I'm consoling myself with moar animated tennis.
I've only watched the first episode and it is already SO BAD. The animation is TERRIBLE. They clearly used up most of the budget making Tezuka sparkle every time he's on screen (no srsly BISHIE TEZUKA HAHAHAHAHA I totally took screencaps) so that Oishi can't contain himself (I wish I was kidding). Kaidoh looks like he has a thin moustache, Fuji is shapeless and weird instead of effeminate creep we know and love, Eiji's head is lumpy instead of heart-shaped and everyone else is just FUG. It's soooooo bad!!
So that was the first strike. Strike two? TACHIBANA. IS. BLONDE. WTF. I know he used to be, but he also had flowing voluptuous locks which was really hilarious because um no, but now he has the same hairstyle but BLONDE. NO. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. MY TACHIBANA-SAMA. Argh I didn't just say that. Sigh.
But strike three? NO. GOLDEN. PAIR. Oishi is magically still nursing that injury from catching the pregnant lady when she fell (which was pretty much the highlight of the whole series, except for Kirihara falling down the stairs HAHAHAHA) despite the fact that was over 100 episodes ago and WTF. So he gives up his spot to Echizen! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. I mean, I knew the little bitch was going to worm his way into the lineup because it's his show, BUT. NOT MY OISHI. NO SRSLY WTF SHOW. So now they have no regular doubles pairs. BRILLIANT. ARGH.
Sigh. It's only been one episode. Episode two had better have something good in it, like Tachibana's hair back to normal and some more Fudomine or something, or I shan't be pleased. Aaaaargh.
Edit: Um. Yeah they made up for it. Although two Eijis was a bit creepy and hella stupid. Um. I'll be over here using up a box of tissues. Damn you, emotionally manipulative show. Bitch. <3
