I am absolutely in love with Muse's new single 'United States of Eurasia'. It's so wonderfully Queen-esque and pretentious and ridiculous and GUH. BASICALLY EVERY REASON I LOVE MUSE. Except no overthetopawesomelymindblowing guitar riff, but I'm sure there will be PLENTY of that on the rest of the album. SO. EXCITED. CANNOT. EVEN. :DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD

I spent almost the entirety of yesterday celebrating Anarchy Day on ontd_startrek and it was BLOODY FANTASTIC. I spazzed about Project Runway and helped come up with a cast for the eventual Temeraire films and posted pictures of my cats and enabled people to spazz over Terminator: Salvation and it was EPIC. Dad made me go see T:S with him, and I turned to the good people of ontd_startrek to fill me in on what to expect/look for/squee over. BB ANTON IN A TOQUE. LIFE NOW COMPLETE. Or something like that. I actually didn't hate it near as much as I thought I would, partly because I was looking for the amazingness that was Marcus/Kyle and ignoring Christian Bale and trying very hard not to look at Schwarzenegger's nether regions (COULD THEY NOT GIVE THE TERMINATOR PANTS? YOU BOTHER TO MAKE THEM IN HUMAN FORM AND THEN YOU DO NOT CLOTHE THEM? PANTS, PEOPLE) and generally laughing at the absurdity of it all. Three bucks well spent, I'd say! Better than the 17.50 spent on Transformers 2, butbutbut SHINY ROBOTS ON IMAX!
My melanittt comes to me tomorrow! THE COOL SISTERS WOO ARE REUNITED AT LAST. And then Wednesday is ENGLAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm so excited and yet stupid nervous because I haven't travelled internationally for a long time but at least we aren't arriving at 0600 on CHRISTMAS MORNING and have to rent a car to drive to a small village outside of Oxford OH AND WHO GOT TO NAVIGATE I WONDER. None of that this time. It will be amazing because I have decreed it so. SO THERE.
We shan't have any internetz while we're there except for possibly running to the library to steal public bandwidth to check the email and possibly arrange something exceedingly exciting that I shan't mention now because I just might die of anticipation and then I can't enjoy the trip. Ahahahahahahahahah excessive nervous laughter. But yes, I shall post our potential itinerary tomorrow so that I can squee over it and make you all jealous (er, except for those of you actually in England because I'm sure you aren't terribly impressed, but well MAYBE YOU WILL BE SO THERE). :D
