- We watched the last Star Trek TNG episode last night so I am now caught up on the whole series. As luck would have it, we could commemorate the event with a Family Guy episode wherein Stewie gets the specs for transporter at a Trekkie Con and beams the entire cast of TNG into his bedroom. My favorite parts of the episode were Gates McFadden eating popcorn with a goofy grin on her face and Patrick Stewart saying "I have girl boobs."
- I have cleared a patch of ground for my early spring veggies. I moved the stones, dug up the clay, added the soil, tilled it, almost entirely by myself. I'm quite proud, and not nearly as sore as one would think. Unfortunately, due to some unexpected concrete foundation and the fencing required to keep the veggies safe from critters, my 6 x 6 garden patch is more like 4 x 4. Still, it's enough to get me started. I've got two rows of radish, one of green onions, two of lettuce leaf, and a corner of cilantro. If I need more room, I can clear more space and do it again, and the crops will be staggered, which is what you want anyway.
- I've been taking the anti-migraine meds for almost three weeks now. It's like an anti-depressant in that you have to let it build up in your system and gradually up the dosage before it reaches the full efficacy. I'm almost at the peak, 3 doses a day, but I'm about ready to quit. They don't cure the migraines plus I feel like hell. Queasy, fuzzy, and now my skin is all tingly-warm. Weird.
- Um... I painted my finger nails blackberry red. Toes, too. I haven't done that in I don't know how long.
- That... that's about it.
