Sorry I haven't updated in so long. Been REALLY busy with schoolwork and other assorted crap.
Spent half the weekend in a car with my mom, traveling up to visit an open-house at Moravian College. The ride was fun though; Mom and I caught up on old times, heard some good tunes, and even drove through the neighborhood where we lived when I was young. I was really shocked at how little it had changed in seven years.
Well, then it got dark and we got lost, which wasn't as fun, but eventually we made our way to Bethlehem (Pennsylvania, that is). As Mom told Dad via cellphone: "Yes, there WAS a room at the inn in Bethlehem". A room that turned out to be roughly five miles down the hall from the lobby, that is. But, regardless, we soon fell asleep, only to have to wake the next morning and tour Moravian College in the freezing rain. To make matters worse, my mom had refused to let me wear my sneakers, so I had to trudge through icy puddles in my thin dress-sandals.
However, Moravian more than made up for that. I want to major in Behavioral Psychology, and Moravian has a splendid psychology program, plus the campus is lovely when it's not raining, and the students and professors all seem very friendly. It's definitely high on my list right now.
Saturday night, after a light supper at Denny's, Mom took me to see "Secondhand Lions", which turned out to be MUCH better than I expected. I wish I had great-uncles like that, not to mention all those pets. Stupid critics don't know anything about anything.
Sunday began the long drive back to school, which turned out to be much shorter than the drive up, because we didn't have to sit in rush-hour traffic. So I returned to school, finished my homework, and here I am.
