Getting a manicure and a pedicure is a wonderful way to spend an hour or two when you have a day off, especially when you have the excuse of having to look at least vaguely nice at a wedding in the near future

given my chosen profession, the odds of making it through until the 26th with nail polish intact are remarkably slim.

So, obviously, you need to make professional manicures a weekly ritual. Right?
