More sparkles! Lots of pictures this time, though it's mostly just my having taken lots of photographs in my never-ending desire to figure out what the hell. Today's experiment: direct sunlight!

Taxi bracelet! ...No, I don't know why either. I just found the collected yellow beads on sale, put them on memory wire, found a matching charm, and here we are!

A bookmark! But more than just an ordinary bookmark, this bookmark bears the seal of endorsement -- or at least the medal -- of St. Thomas Aquinas, patron saint of scholars, theologians, students, universities, Aristotelians, and very large books. This may be the first in a series for me; the local bead place has several of these bookmark blanks, so I may see what I can do with that medium.

I saw these little beads at that local store, and they were a little expensive, but the second I saw of them I thought of my stepsister, so I got them and made them into a bracelet for her! ...It may yet be a little long for her, in which case I'll go back and get another, and take one bead off, and she'll have matching earrings. ...I may just do that anyway, hell.

Another links-and-flowers bracelet, in the style of this bracelet, only with pinks and purples. I really like this style of bracelet, though I acknowledge that they're really not for everyday wear, unless you can be comfortable with really chunky things around your wrists.

Another memory wire bracelet from another tube of assorted beads I picked up, same place as the yellow ones. I feel as though I should put a charm on the end, but I'm not sure what yet.

Little black stone beads, linked together into an adjustable bracelet. I wish I liked bracelets more, since I like making them so much.

Another bracelet! The lavender glass beads on this one really do have little rainbow spots -- it's not just the sun.

More earrings with those little charms that remind me of the Inception logo.

Little Buddas, suspended beneath little lotuses. I wore these earrings out today, and got compliments from complete strangers! So I guess that's a good sign.

Simple, plain little glass earrings. ...Yep!

And then we got some fuzzies! Actually, the following is just 80% one giant commercial for djinnj's beautiful yarn, since everything except the silly cotton is from her. A couple of these, I've taken photographs of before, but I wanted to see how they looked in the sunlight.

Purple Peruvian, done up into a nice dense scarf with Marguerite star stitch -- which is sort of a pain to work with, and I ended up having to amend the stitch a little because all of the patterns I was reading ended up with a scarf that curved gently to the right. But this one stayed mostly straight, and I believe I shall give the finished result to my stepfather.

Orsino, in that wide, wide stitch. I may not end up re-blocking it, since it's relaxed nicely. I think we've determined my mother-in-law may be getting this one.

Nebula, into a wide wrap for my mother. I wanted to get this in the direct sunlight so you could see the silver, but the light just wasn't working for me today. Nonetheless, it's beautiful and starry, and I obviously took lots of close-up pictures because it's just that beautiful. Like raininariver, I thought the silver might be rough when working, but it's actually so nice and soft all the way through.

Titania, which looks more separated when it's all wound, and like a painting by Monet when it's all done up together; if you squint, you can almost see the water lilies.

And a very, very silly thing I made with 80 yards of yarn, because I saw it in the sale bin for $.79 and figured I could do something with it. So I did! It's either a necklace or a belt, and either way, it's worth every penny.

Maybe I'll update my Etsy! ...Maybe I'll just sit very still.
