I think
this is an absolutely gorgeous tribute to John Hughes. Speaking of which, I was sad to hear he died. I was born in the 80's, so I had Home Alone as a kid, Sixteen Candles as a junior high kid, The Breakfast Club as a high schooler, and Ferris Bueller's Day Off as a senior. (My mom noticed I had senioritis something bad and told me to watch it. I've loved it ever since.)
Tomorrow I'm off to WhedonFest. They're trying to do a whole weekend here in Tennessee of Joss Whedon stuff. Looks like it's going to be much like a con, except on camping grounds and 100 percent less celebrities. It's part of Can't Stop The Serenity, so... I'll get to watch that, you know, little darn movie with a bunch of other crazy people. I'm excited! I'll have to post pictures of the geekiest thing I've ever done in my life.
Oh, and 'cause I'm bored:
Ask me my fannish Top Five [Whatevers]. Any top fives. Doesn't matter what, really! And I will answer them all in a new post.
