1. Watching the Olympics here has been so much fun! No commercial interruption during the actual Olympics! And the Japanese have been a lot of fun. Apparently they've only won one bronze medal and the Japanese broadcasters are like, "Nippon, pull yourself together!" ('Nippon' being the elitist, patriotic word for 'Japan'.)
2. Bernie Mac? Seriously? Wow. That's... surprising. And very sad.
3. Also... Russia and Georgia. Wow. (Although I was skimming through my news channel on yahoo and I swear I read that as Georgia, you know, the state, and I couldn't figure out why Russia would be attacking Atlanta.) Last night when I went to bed I was reading over 1,000 people dead. I mean, oh my God.
4. In light of Russia and Georgia, I cannot tell you how little I care about John Edwards.
