Guys, my reading skills have gotten pretty good! Spend the night with a fever and you become a super genius. I'm watching the World Series right now and I read "Rokashisu" which, I think, translates to "Rockies." I haven't read "Red Sox" yet because that's a long word, but I'm guessing it has something to do with "Redo sokasu."

Then I proceeded to actually read the name of the convenience store clerk and one random word on the way back to my apartment.

God. I am such a baseball freak. The first time I've felt, like, for real homesick is listening to the seven inning stretch. "Take Me Out To the Ballgame" just brought me to tears. It's a stupid tradition, but it's so very American and so very us that it makes me miss home. It was also kind of cool to hear the Rockies fans all cheer during "God Bless America" when they got to "From the mountains... to the valleys..."

But on a nicer note, it was funny to see that they had "Take Me Out To the Ballgame" translated into Japanese so you can sing along. LOL!
