Venting...
So about a month ago I was up for a promotion at work actually I was approached and asked to apply...I was told i was going to get the position, and now a month later the guy from the other store hasn't called me back. So obviously he gave it to the other little twat that applied. I'm so irritated because I'm SO much more qualified than she is...and I was told that the only reason they gave her the position instead of me is that the District Manager used to work with her and told her she could have it without ever giving me a damn chance.
So anyway...one of the Managers...joe...of the store i was SUPPOSED to work at had to come help out at my store because one of our managers is on Vac. So Joe is this fucking irritating guy who I've had to work with before....he never shuts up...he talks to you like youre stupid...even though HE is obviously the one who has NO clue. I was getting a customers info for a job, and he just kept talking to her and wouldn't shut up...HELLO...I had a TON of shit to get done on top of taking that ladies stupid job, and he can't stop talking...wtf. I seriously wanted to kill him.
At one point he asked me if Sam had called (sam is the fuck who didn't give me the job) and I told him,"No he is ignoring me" and stupid fucking Joe actually tries to defend sam...telling me he was going to call me to let me know but he went on Vac. and didn't have the chance. Um...okay...cuz it is SO flipping hard to pick up the phone for a minute and Say SORRY you didn't get the job, but thanks for applying. Wow...yeah I can see why that is so hard. Then joe tells me sam wants me to go to his store for another position.......why the fuck would I want to work for that fat bastard after seeing how lacking he is in professionalism. it just totally pisses me off because if he had just let me know i wouldn't have to turn down this new position...but I'm not going to work with someone who can't handle the requirments of their job.
