Eww
Hubby just called to let me know Munchkin found a mouse lying on the kitchen counter, gasping its last breath, and was petting it! He is completely freaking out and wanting to call an exterminator. I'm trying to calm him down a bit - after all, this is the first sign of rodent we've seen in our new place and he's been working on the dryer the past few days and had the vent disconnected from the wall so it's likely that's were it came from.
Needless to say, though, I will be cleaning the kitchen from top to bottom tonight & trying to get my hands on Peppermint Essential Oil so I can sprinkle some minty cotton balls around the house for a while...
