The Power of Pie compells you!
Ok... so I'd mentioned the house spirits and they're still being relatively low key... but yesterday I had one of those moments where, if it were a horror movie, people would be yelling at the screen to get the F*** out of the house... NOW!
So I was getting ready for work yesterday and the Norman kitten did his usual bit of jumping in the cupboard to hide/hang out. Shortly after that, I heard water either running or being splashed. Somehow, the cup that's usually on teh counter for the kitties to drink out of, ended in the cupboard, and Normankitten was enjoing a refreshing drink. And it was just on the counter. FREAKY!!!
So was telling the Honey about it last night, then turned out the lights and was settling in to go to sleep, when he all of a sudden saw a shadow on the headboard... then it happened again... like a figure or something walked quickly past the doorway... At this point *I* am ready to grab the kittens and get the f--- out of the house, but turns out it was just the blower moving the curtain. *whew*
So all this put us on edge and every little noise we heard last night made us seriously jumpy... And enough stuff has come up missing - weird random things - that it's almost time to have a Come To Pie convesation with these spirits... erg... my house, dammit! I have a Flag and everything!
