We made it! All 9 of us went to Disneyland and everyone survived. No blow ups, no hurt feelings and best of all we got on all the flights we wanted. Yep, it was good. SN seemed to enjoy everything. He loved the "choo choo" that goes around Disneyland and, of course, the shuttle bus the drove us from our hotel to the park. I get the impression that he would have been just as happy if we'd just hopped on the Metro bus at home day after day after day. That kid loves anything that has wheels on it. There's nothing like seeing DLand for the first time with your child.
I'm stalling taking all the boxes of Christmas decorations out. I want to decorate, but I'm nervous that you know who will be in to everything and stuff will get broken. DH has all the outside lights up and SN loves them, so I know he'll dig all the new stuff around the house. Just hope it's all not too tempting for a 2 yr old.
Found a house in Des Moines that I want to go look at. I'm going to email my realtor and see when we can go take a peek. The thing that I found so frustrating about house shopping is the houses that sound perfect on line turn out to be complete dogs and the ones that look horrible always have some possibilities. Makes me wonder if I've passed over the perfect house on line because it looks so bad. Guess I'll never know. DH is still not on board with the whole house thing, but in classic Robyn style, I keep charging ahead anyway. I'm sure that if I find the perfect house he'll fall right in line. **rolling eyes** yeah, right........ Anyway, it doesn't hurt to look.
Enough stalling.........
