Please no snow!! oh please, oh please, oh please...
I love the snow... I love drinking hot chocolate while it silently drifts down outside, love making snowmen, love watching the kids having a blast outside........ but not on a work night. I hate to drive in the stuff. I'm the first to admit I really don't know how to do it, so it freaks me out to have to get to work with it on the roadways.
As predicted.. DH ended up with "THE COLD" on Thanksgiving day. Yep, we all were sickly over the holiday. We stayed home and did not spread our germs around to others. We just sniffled and snorted thru our Thanksgiving dinner. Hopefully we will all feel better on Wednesday.
Why you ask? We're all going to Disneyland for 4 days! Yippee. I can hardly wait. SN will be enjoying his first time there. In fact my nieces will also be enjoying their first time there as well. Everyone had better cross their fingers and pray for us ... there's going to be 7, count them 7, of us trying to go standby. I'm sure I've lost my mind to be doing this. But, what's life without a little excitement? We're going this week on purpose because it's one of the slowest travel weeks each and every year. Here's hoping that trend continues.
Oh and tomorrow... you have got to watch 'The Biggest Loser'. Suzy from Des Moines WA is one of the final three. She's the best friend of the gal I sit next to at work. We're all hoping she wins!! I met her a couple of weeks ago and she is the nicest person and as skinny as a rail!!! Go Suzy!!!! She has inspired me to get back to working out... now I just need to get myself back on track with my food and I'll be all set.
Okay.. work will be here sooner than I would like.
