We calle and spoke to someone yesterday afternoon who told us we would not be charged. We called at 1030 pm last night and spoke to someone who I chewed out after being told that we would be charged. Lauran called again at about 11pm and was told that we needed to talk to accounting to make sure that our card wasn't charged without enough money on it.
Lauran called this morning and spoke to the person at the front desk in regards to our reservation and he also spoke to accounting. According to them, a supervisor put a note in our reservation that we were NOT to be charged a deposit. So we don't actually know if we're going to be charged or not.
Harley was charged for the whole duration of the con, some $600, instead of what should have been a $150 charge.
Needless to say, I miss the DoubleTree and I will not be attending FC again.
