A pretty good day
Today was pretty good... talked to my mom a little more and she's feeling a little better about it all.
Went to Wells Fargo and worked on banking stuff, set up a savings account and a checking account for the wedding. :) Talked to a really nice banker who was very helpful.
Went to class and was sent home early, because I have already done all of the work. :D I can't do any more transcription- I finished the tape! LOL
We went out to Horning's Hideout (http://horningshideout.com) and checked it out as a possible wedding venue. Totally fell in love. <3 I am emailing with the owner to get rates and such. :)
It was 430, which means that coming back to town from out past Hillsboro wasn't going to be happening without about 2 hours in traffic. I hate traffic, it makes me car sick. We decided to drive west instead and drove out to Cannon Beach. I had never been to the Oregon Coast, it was very pretty and reminded me of Humboldt. It was nice to feel the sea breeze again. It was red tide, so no going in the water. Had some clam chowder in a bread bowl and drove back to Portland.
All in all, a really great day!
