I love writing Jack/Alonso too. Funny thing, I didn't really enjoyed the idea when I saw the episode, but after watching Being Human I fell in love with Russel Tovey and therefore, Alonso too.

oh yeah! Russel Tovey is love! Must be the ears! those big ears are just too cute to resist! Much like Colin Morgan's! hehe speaking of which, Merlin fic?? Must visit your LJ and read it! I'll do that first thing tomorrow, when I don't have to use toothpicks to keep my eyes open!!!

There's that lag between when I get the chapters and send them back to you and when you post them, that there's always some moment of "oh yeah, that thing happened in this chapter!" Or maybe I'm just getting old and forgetful... In this chap., it was the exchange between Martha and Ianto about leaving Archie behind. I love that you have Martha figuring heavily in this series because I really dig her.

I love Martha. She's my favorite companion, not the best one (That's Donna's place and no one beats the Doctor-Donna), but definitely the one I like it best; and I always thought she would fit in perfectly in Torchwood, that story arch she did in series two just proved it to me.

I think this is one of the best chapters I've wrote. I don't know, must be all the action! I'm a sucker for a good shooting scene in a story.

That Martha/Ianto bit about Arthur was good too, I just had to be careful to not turn him into a 'Gwen' and protest too much about leaving Archie behind.
