second part is here =D
When they finally arrived at the precinct, they were put in a holding cell and the first officer, who Quinn discovered to be detective Ross, came in to question them. He was still looking at Nick smugly, and the boy returned the gaze with barely contained anger, he never looked more like his father.
“So boys, what about some identification so we can call you parents?” Detective Ross said, crossing his arms over his chest, still smirking.
“Sure.” Johnny said jumping to his feet. “I’m Wayne, Bruce Wayne. And these are my friends, Bruce Banner, Peter Parker and Clark Kent.” He was smirking very smugly at his little display and Nick couldn’t help but to grin as the detective’s smirk fell and he looked pissed.
Before Nick could process what’s going on, the detective punched Johnny, throwing the boy back into Alec’s arms, who steadied him. What the hell? Nick was beyond furious now. Who the hell the man thought he was? Quinn needed to physically retrain him so he wouldn’t kick the detective’s ass.
“You four think you’re very smart. Let’s see if a night with other inmates will loose those tongues up.” He grinned evilly as he stepped away from the bars. “Hell, it will certainly loose other body parts.” He walked away, tossing the boys a smirk over his shoulder.
“Fucking abusive bastard!” Johnny hissed, finally being released from Alec’s grip.
“Well, if you’d just controlled your freaking mouth for once.” Alec complained starting to get pissed. He had, after all, given up his warm, fluffy bed to come in this crazy thing with his cousins.
“Hey, we wouldn’t be here, if Mister Tough Guy hadn’t clocked the fucker!” Johnny snapped, crossing his arms over his chest, glaring at Nick.
“Hey, did you have a better idea, dickhead?” Nick snapped back. “Oh, wait, this whole thing was your idea to begin with!”
“No one forced you to come!” Johnny stated almost yelling.
“Yeah, because I’d let you alone with Q. I’m not crazy! I don’t want Aunt Nity blowing my ass with a shotgun because you screwed her baby’s innocence!” Nick replied in the same volume. That was getting out of hand fast.
“Like he’s more secure with you, Nick?” Alec snorted, making his cousin glare at him.
The three boys started to bitch among each other, pointing fingers at one other and Quinn was pretty sure there would be punches pretty soon. And the worst thing: they were talking about him like he wasn’t even there, like he was some defenseless baby. That was it! Quinn had enough.
“WILL YOU GUYS SHUT THE FUCK UP!?” The three older boys turned stunned at the normally quiet and shy younger boy, glaring at the three. “One: Johnny, if you had just taken us to a legal place, none of this would have happened. Two: Nick, I’m not a saint, I don’t mind Johnny’s bullshit, and you don’t have to act like I’m seven years old. And three: Alec, you are as much of a tight ass as I am, don’t go all protector on me, I don’t like it, especially because you don’t even have the balls to tell Ash you’re in love with her since you figured out girls aren’t disgusting.”
The three boys just stared at Quinn as he finished his angry speech, with mouths hanging open. Dude, Quinn had never spoken so much, so loudly and so angrily.
“Dude…” Johnny whistled, recovering first. “You cursed!” He grinned proudly and pulled Quinn into a headlock, messing the boy’s hair. “That’s my boy!”
That totally ruined the desired effect from that little out bust, but that was ok. At least now they weren’t fighting, so they could figure out a plan to get the hell out of there. Alec could probably push the iron bars open, but there were security cameras to tape it and other inmates to worry about, so that was out of question.
“We need to figure out a way to get out of here.” Alec said quietly with a heavy sigh and pinched the bridge of his nose. “I should have known this was going to end up bad.
“Why did you tag along then, Golden Boy?” Johnny replied annoyed.
“Stop calling me that!” Alec glared at the other boy. How could someone be such a pain in the ass all the time?
“Sure. Do you prefer Boy Scout? Or maybe Mr. Perfect?” Johnny just had enough of Alec acting like he was better than everyone.
“J, enough.” Nick tried to reason, putting himself between the two boys.
“No, not enough, Nick. I’m sick of this, I’m sick of Mr. Computer Geek over there biting my head off just because your sister doesn’t know he exists. It’s not my fault; it’s just Ash’s way. She likes trouble, and I’m a very constant source of it. We’re friends and you’re not gonna make me feel guilty about that. It’s not like she’s into me or something!”
If he wasn’t watching, Johnny would probably had missed the way Alec’s shoulders tensed, how his jaw set and his hands closed into fists at that last statement.
“That’s it? You think Ash likes me and you’re jealous?” He laughed in disbelief. That was ridiculous. “She doesn’t. Not in a romantic way. God, Mel’s right, you are pathetic when it comes to Ashley. Sorry having to break this to you, Grimm, but if Ash doesn’t care about you it isn’t my fault. She just doesn’t.”
It felt like a punch in his guts and Alec wanted desperately beat all Johnny’s teeth out of his mouth, but it wouldn’t do any good. It wouldn’t change the fact that he was right. It had never been his fault, Alec just needed someone to blame because it made easier to accept it.
“Either you tell her or you move on. You can keep waiting forever, man.” Johnny’s tone was softer now. He had delivered his message and saw it sinking in. He knew his words stung like a bitch, but it wasn’t nothing compared to what Alec had to go through everyday with Ash ignoring his feelings. He knew way too well.
“Come on boys, don’t fight.” The stranger’s voice cut through their argument. Until that moment, they all had forgotten about the others inmates. “Let’s have some fun instead.”
The speaker was a tall, bulked man with arms covered in tattoos, wearing a leather jacket and a bandana. He walked closer to them, a smug smirk in his face, eyes set on Quinn. Nick’s breath caught in throat when the stranger reached out for the younger boy. He certainly didn’t know what he was getting into.
Quinn watched the man from the corner of his eye, remaining still until he felt the distance between himself and the guy’s hand closing in; before it could lay on his arm, Quinn grabbed the guy’s hand and twisted until a loud snap was heard followed by a pained howl.
The boy didn’t even bother in turning his head to asset the damage he had caused. As matter of fact, during the entire violent exchange, Quinn had his eyes set on his cousins, blank expression in his face.
The biker, on the other hand, was cradling his bruised hand against his chest and watching the boy in wonder and fear. How did he manage to do that?
“Find someone else to have fun with.” Quinn ordered in a cold tone. The man’s gaze shifted from him to the other three unconsciously. “Not them.” He warned dangerously. The man quickly retreated back to his group of friends who were watching the display in awe.
“Possessive much?” Johnny said with a smirk when Quinn stepped closer to him.
“Would you rather play house with the Village People wannabe? I can call him back.” Quinn smirked smugly. Something that he had never done before, but felt good to have to edge over his cousins.
“Hey man, I’m cool; Nick was the one attracting the looks.” He smirked at his friend.
“I think is the hair.” Alec commented thoughtfully making Johnny and Quinn choke on their laughter and Nick glare at him.
“He’s right dude, it’s kinda, I don’t know, unmanly.” Johnny snickered, messing Nick’s hair. But the boy wasn’t paying attention; both he and Quinn were staring at him with open mouths. “What?” Johnny asked concerned, checking behind himself to see if none of the other guys had walk closer.
“Dude, you just agreed with Alec.” Quinn said carefully, glancing at Alec from the corner of his eyes.
“That’s like the sign of apocalypse or something.” Nick completed, looking stunned.
“Cute, but back to the plan of getting out of here…” Alec spoke up, feeling frustration washing over him. It was getting late and they still needed to find Uncle Dean’s car before heading back home.
“Anyone has a plan?” Johnny asked, crossing his arm behind his head.
“We can’t call our parents…” Alec stated just to get out of the way. They all knew that.
“Well, maybe uncle Dean would be understanding of the whole jail thing.” Nick suggested with a shrug.
“Yeah, sure.” Johnny replied with a snort. “That until he finds out that his car was stolen, then he would castrate us. I don’t know about you lot, but I’d like to keep my testicles where they are.”
Before any of them could reply to Johnny’s statement, detective Ross walked in, and man, did he look pissed; like if someone had forced him to lick his own boot.
He signaled to the guard and he opened the cell. The four looked at each other confused before the man spoke.
“Constantine, Grimm, Pendragon and Winchester, you free to go.” They gasped.
“What? We’re free?” Alec asked carefully. He didn’t trust that guy. “Why?”
“Someone just bail you out boy. It’s your lucky day; now get out of my face!” Ross hissed angrily and the four boys just hurried away following a uniform.
They wondered which one of their parents had come for the rescue and following murder. Maybe the jail was the safest place right now. Nick would pretty much take the cell with shady guys then face his mom in the precinct.
But when they arrived outside were surprised to see, it wasn’t one of their parents who bailed them out, it was actually Ben Krupp, standing there, with a wicked grin on his face. Nick immediately relaxed and grinned back at one of his best friends.
“Dude! You rock!” Nick said chuckling.
“I know, I know Constantine, I’m the answers to your prayers.” Ben replied smugly.
“Ok, that sounded absolutely gay.” Johnny said smirking, but thankful anyway.
“Jealous?” Ben teased, throwing an arm over Nick’s shoulder and arching an eyebrow at Johnny.
“Hell yes! I’m the only one allowed to rock’s little Nicky’s world.” Ben half-laughed, half-snorted as Johnny pulled Nick from his embrace.
“And you said I sounded gay.” He said smirking.
Nick pushing himself away from both boys eyeing them worried.
“You both sounded gay and it’s freaking me out, so no touching.” That got laughs from both Johnny and Ben.
“Don’t worry pretty boy, we’ll keep our hands to ourselves.” Ben said.
“Boy scout’s honor.” Johnny completed.
“You’ve never been a boy scout, Johnny.” Quinn butted in snickering. “As I recall, you were kicked out on the very first day for stealing one of the girl scouts underwear and running around with it on your head.”
They all laughed heartily.
“Oh yeah. That was fun.” Johnny smirked at the memory. “How old was I back then?”
“Eight, maybe nine.” Alec replied sighing. “A pervert since young age.”
“Well, he is a Winchester after all.” Nick said chuckling. Johnny rolled his eyes, but didn’t contradict the statement.
“Ok guys, you can mock me all you want later, but now, let’s find my car.” He spoke up, making everyone sober up.
“Yeah, about that…” Ben started, with a strange expression. “I got good news and bad news.”
Johnny sighed heavily and looked down, he should probably start to say goodbye to his private parts, because he had the honest feeling that they wouldn’t recover his car.
“Give us the good news first.” Nick said, eying his cousin with worry from the corner of his eye.
“Well, your car wasn’t stolen.” Ben inform with a matter-of-fact voice. Johnny looked up with a glint of hope. “Well, not by humans anyway.” The older boy concluded with a shrug.
“Ok, what part of that is good?” Johnny asked, almost chocking with anger.
“An Impala 67? If it had been stolen by humans it would be half way across the ocean by now. It’s a rare car Winchester, extremely valuable.”
“You’re preaching the choir here.” Nick stepped in the conversation; feeling Johnny was about to do something stupid, like punch Ben, and that would only get his ass kicked. “Who took the car?”
“A couple of warlocks. A bet they figure it would be an easy way to lure a certain Winchester into a trap. After all, that car is the apple of your dad’s eye.”
That was indeed good news. Warlocks they could deal with; an angry Dean Winchester with his baby stolen? That was certain death. A long, painful and torturous death.
“Do you happen to know where the car is?” Alec asked, finally manifesting himself after the long silence.
Ben shot him his trademark smirk, full of himself. Alec hated it.
“As a matter of fact…” He flicked his cell phone open. “Lils, where are they?”
“They just arrived at the warehouse neighborhood. I sent the coordinates to your phone.” The five boys heard Lily Krupp’ voice coming from the speaker.
“Thank you, see you in a few.” Ben replied and closed the phone
“Lily’s helping?” Quinn asked quietly, turning a little pink.
“Of course, I don’t hunt alone, it’s not smart.” He shrugged still smirking, but this time due the light blush from the other boy. “Shall we get going?”
He indicated his car with his chin and the four boys followed him. Nick took the front seat by Ben’s side, while Johnny, Alec and Quinn squeezed themselves on the back and Ben drove away.
Maybe, just maybe, they could get the car back and go home before dawn and before their parents figure out they were gone.
