I have many friends who deal daily with problems and pasts that seem overwhelming. I am also in that group. The following video link may be triggery even though the message is delivered only in text.

It is almost ironic that America is the land of charitable orginazations but only if you live somewhere other than America. Admitting that millions of Americans need help or assistance with medical and dental illnesses seems to mean that America is itself a failure when it comes to taking care of its citizens. Got an e-mail this morning from a friend who, I had forgotten, lives near Biloxi. She and her family survived Katrina with just a tree branch crasing into their kitchen. And, since her SO worked at the casinos, they are bailing. What is kinda neat is that I have been forwarding contact information to all my friends in the hopes that at one ( Read more... )
