Now that I'm on the right computer, I can post a couple of poems.

This first one is inspired by one of my friends' poems about the elemental feathers.

Elements of Running

I could run forever in the rain
The wind sliding through my fingers
Past my cheek
The earth falling away beneath me
Giving the scent of ten thousand new things
The water dropping on my face
Hiding my tears
The fire burning inside me
Dying away
As I run forever
Forever in the rain

And this one is for a friend that I may be way to different from, but I love her, miss her, and would love to jive with her again.

Ying Yang

I am the darkness
You are the light
I am the undercurrent
That supports the dancing of your sunlight
And you shine upon the world
Creating my shadows
Round and round we go
We have the potential
To merge with each other
Share and enrich each other
But you are too brilliant to look upon
And I am too dark to see your way through
We butt up against each other
Instead of joining together
It hurts
To not join differences with one such as you
Our friendship should bring us closer
And make us one
