and now for something a little different

This Land Is Your Land the way it was meant to be. Thanks to multred_a for the link.

Today was Martin Luthor King day at church and we had a really touching reflection about how the fight for civil rights doesn't end on Tuesday but goes on every day because they're the fight for human rights. A made a great point--King's speech was in front of the Lincoln Memorial; Obama's innauguration will be held on the steps of the Capital. Forty odd years apart and a little over a mile distance. She said it broke down to moving seven inches a day between the two for all those years.

But, it ain't over.

While married couples have to fear that their marriages will be revoked. While families are split as parents are forced back to the countries of their births and their children remain. While hate is still easier than love.

It ain't over.
