Wheeeeee! Another chapter ready to be proofed! And I hope to start the skip ahead ten days one tonight! Wheeeeeeee!

The AC is still working, thank god, as it's like 105 out there or something. It was so hot already when I got to work at 8:30 I checked my watch to make sure I wasn't three hours late! Luckily it's going to be in the 90s tomorrow and then break with storms on Wednesday (yes, I'll even take a wet basement over this blasted heat) to bring it down to the low to mid 80s for the next week.

Busy off and on at work but still managed to write nine pages!

Last night, for some reason, I watched some of Veronica Mars season 1. Damn, I remember why I loved that show so much in the first two seasons. Maybe someday I'll get around to watching the last two arcs of the third.

I went to see the Xfiles movie. It was enjoyable. Not a blockbuster, didn't really carry on the myth, but then they pretty much did away with the myth when they killed off Fox' sister and he pretty much left the show which is when I pretty much lost interest. I have downloaded the last half of season 9 (10, whatever the final season is) to watch some day rather than try to find them scattered on old tapes.

I'm also catching up on comic book reading, slowly but surely. I'm so not happy Selina's apparently becoming a bad guy again but her snarkiness about Bruce's latest fling made me giggle. I do wish that DC would get their continuity act together because how does JSA's Gog storyline fit into the Crisis and how does RIP etc? It doesn't look like they do. I wasn't around for the last crisis (read it all in trade paperbacks later) but didn't the individual books tie in? They did with the original crisis and the time trapper thingie and other big events. And where the hell does Trinity fit into all this. It's so annoying to have, for example, Batman with no memory in one book and Bruce flirting with Selina (that's how I see it, dammit) in another and Batman being kidnapped and tortured in another all in the same freakin' month!

Okay, off to edit so I can watch "A Trip To The Dentist" (god, wouldn't it have been super fantastic if Duncan and Veronica really had been siblings?!) while eating dinner so I can get back to writing some more!
