not sure how i can be happy after that
Just watched last week's Bones, crying now...
I'd seen the headline that someone died but I avoided reading it and then I forgot so it came as a complete shock.
Anyway...
Yesterday had several little happies that I forgot to write about since I was actually kind of busy. I finished (except for an epilogue) the rough draft of the Derek/Stiles Big Bang. I went to church for the first time in three weeks. I saw Mazerunner--good movie for what it was; Dylan is damn sexy all grubby. Of course I knew it was the first book of a trilogy so that it was open ended wasn't a surprise. Hope they make the next two. The Royals won the final game of the season, coming from behind as soon as Detroit clinched the division. It's like the whole team just relaxed and had fun with the rest of the game.
Today's happy is that for the first time in 2 1/2 weeks I slept through the night without having to go to the bathroom!!!! Such a lame happy really, but when your body just isn't right, it's kind of scary, especially since there's precedence in my family. It took doctors and specialists almost two years and her losing about 60 pounds to pinpoint the cause of my mom's diarrhea to lactose and gluten intolerances. I really didn't want those.
Thinking I'd have to watch the Chiefs play tonight in my dining room since I'd be recording so much on the main DVR, I'm going to may parents' tonight and will join dad in his man cave. Then I actually looked at what was on and realized I wouldn't have had to do that. The only time I record two things is 7:00-7:30 and the game starts at 7:30. Oh well, that means I can be home to watch the Royals playoff game tomorrow night. I have my manicure and then grocery shopping after work but should make it home by 7:00. I'll have to shuffle a couple recordings of shows that replay but not a problem.
The game is here against Oakland and, while we have a winning record against them this season, we've lost three times to the pitcher they're putting up. :P
Oh, after the disastrous loss to Texas, KU fired the football coach. *sigh* No one wants to coach here. God knows who we'll get. Right now a former player and a current defensive coach is interim.
And finally I got this lovely spammy comment on my latest ficlet, "Nothing Is Inevitable":

I guess you never heard of that old saying, do unto others, eh?
Would you LIKE to be forced to be in a relationship with someone, then, have them FORCE you to carry a child you did not want? Taking away your own rights to your very body? (I can stomache rape fics, but, when FORCED preg comes into the picture, I am running to the TOLIET.)
Unless you are even more fucked up then previously thought, I DOUBT that, I doubt that ANYONE SANE wants that.
