Barrier Broken
I can't stand the University of Missouri, most people know this, but I'm nearly in tears watching Michael Sam become the first openly gay man drafted by the NFL. Okay, he was nearly the last (249 out of 256) but in a poll they showed only about 40% of those polled thought he'd get drafted at all.
He was sobbing and kissing his boyfriend and it was just incredibly sweet and poignant and powerful.
Maybe we're slowly moving into the 21st century?
