nooooooooo, too soonnnnnnnn

Still lots of days left in the ask me a question meme. In fact, I have nothing to babble about tomorrow.

Before I launch into today's subject...

WHY IS THERE WHITE CRAP ON THE GROUND?????

Okay, it's like not even a half inch, but I'm so not ready for snow. :P Also like 17 degrees out--it's ten degrees warmer in my brother's town outside of Chicago, that's just wrong. I had to drip the kitchen faucet overnight. I hate wasting water.

I posted a ficlet about Stiles' and Peter's daughter yesterday. Apparently hurt/comfort bingo ends at the end of this month so I better get a move on since I'm doing all the squares around the edges. This one was for "runaways". I just got this adorable image of a little girl stomping through the forest pouting with Stiles' lips and Peter's eyes and dragging her blankie and teddy behind her.

Choir went incredibly well. Our big concert is this Sunday and we just started rehearsing one song last night (we sang it two years ago so it's not completely unfamiliar to some of us). We dumped the incredibly hard song and we have "pop up choir" joining us for all the pieces so there are three or four more people which makes it sound so much better. The songs all came together. I was a bit worried as I haven't looked at them in two weeks and I missed a couple rehearsals due to the class I was taking. In fact, we ended after an hour. I thought we might go two and need an extra rehearsal on Saturday.

The other two pieces we're doing in December are ones we've sung before, including our first piece for Christmas Eve which is the Bowie/Crosby Little Drummer Boy/Peace on Earth piece, probably my second favorite carol of all time.

When I got home I put on Michigan State/North Carolina and decorated most of the tree. I pooed out with one drawer left and I need to do some filling/shifting of ornaments. Also hung the kissing ball, stockings and wreathe. It was so bitterly cold after work I blew off the store, so need to go there this afternoon so I can bake a couple breads tonight.

I'm baking my sourcream raisin bread all for myself for after Christmas so I'll hold off on that. Can't bake the chocolate chip banana bread until the bananas blacken a bit, and the cranberry/orange bread is for church next week. I think that leaves raspberry bread and blueberry bread. Of course I failed to get those berries out of the freezer... Actually putting them in the dough frozen works better as they don't smush.

So tonight is finishing decorating/haul the boxes back downstairs, and bake. I was going to clean one of the ovens last night and then got caught up in the tree.

I hate North Carolina winning but they knocked off #1 and I don't like MIchigan State all that much either so...

Most of the Big 12 seems to be playing in some kind of SEC/Big 12 challenge thingie but we're not. Maybe we didn't want to risk getting Missouri? *snicker* I love how we're playing Colorado this weekend--they left the Big 12 too--big screw you to Missouri. Y'know I don't really mind them leaving where basketball is concerned--the rivalry was never the same after Norm Stewart retired--but they fucked up the longest rivalry west of the Mississippi in football. Can't forgive them for that. Will SO be rooting for Auburn this weekend.

I watched Arrow last night. When I found out who was playing Barry--Sebastian the shit from Glee--I wasn't thrilled but the kid can act as he made Barry just adorable and eager and nothing like Sebastian. Interesting twist with who Moira went to for help. I wonder if that means Canary will return? I do enjoy the little throw-ins from comics all with enough twists away from them to make them interesting, and bringing in non-traditionally Ollie villains, too (also making, so far, Slade a good guy). And, Kord Industries mention! *sob Ted sob*

Also I had some dim memories of a speedster killing Barry's mom and I was right--it was Zoom in the comics. They gonna bring in time travel???

Anyway, quite enjoyed the ep.

Okay, going to do a separate post on the meme.

snow sucks, holiday decorating, basketball, choir, writing, tv babble, holiday baking
