noooooo, need ficcccccccs!
Not a good time for AO3 to be down "for maintenance", three days before Yuletide fics are due. Not that I'm anywhere near ready to load mine because, y'know, only one actually rough drafted. *sigh* But I do hope to get the one polished and loaded tonight...that is if the archive comes back.
I'm glad I was busy yesterday when all the new defaults came through to the pinch hitter list because I might have stupidly snagged another one. On my original assignment I've now decided to go with the fandom I matched on after all, rather than the other one because...well, for reasons. Still may require some research. I need to watch a certain show I know I'll love and then volunteer for that fandom because I so won't have to research any of that. Being vague enough, I hope.
I'm just glad my name hasn't appeared on the pinch hitter list.
I feel like crap today--the cold, not my stomach. I still wasn't hungry but finally ate lunch around 1:45 because I hadn't eaten anything in twelve hours and was starting to get a bit light-headed though that may be the sinus pressure, too. Luckily my grocery list is very short so I should be home within an hour of leaving work. Still hoping gas is $2.99. :)
I need to get some energy because I need to write that other fic tonight but right now I'm so blah and tired I just keep staring at the Derek/Stiles fic in google docs and it keeps staring back at me.
And AO3 is down so reading fics on the TW holiday exchange instead.
And holepunching/organizing files because I literally have nothing to do. What's really sad is that by Thursday I'm going to be swamped in order to get stuff done before staycation next week, but, considering my last staycation was enforced upon me after surgery, I so need this!
