drippy nose hurts
Yeah, lovely subject line *sigh*. Stupid cold. At least (knock on wood) so far no fever so I have energy because I have four million things to do this weekend.
Read some fanfic during breakfast then decorated packages, put down the tree skirt, and then cleaned up messy dining room (where I wrap). Sent mass email to possible participants for Christmas Eve service. Now I'm making a list of everything I need to do before Christmas.
Which is way too freaking much.
At least Fandom Stocking doesn't load until January so I don't need to think about those fics I'll be writing until after Christmas.
At some point I need to write a sermon on Jesus, too. Music's all set for that, at least.
Also work on the Solstice. *sigh*
Watching basketball, looking forward to the Indiana/Butler game in a bit. Bowl season starts today, too, but I don't really care about any of them until the Big 12 games and those are all around New Years. Nine of our teams are in bowl games. We only have ten. Guess which one isn't going. *snort* EVERY team we lost to is in a bowl game, including two of the out of conference. I'm not sure what this says about the quality of competition in bowls these days...I remember when there were like only four or five bowls all on New Year's Day....<--iz old.
KU basketball which, unlike the football team, will be in postseason, plays Belmont tonight. We lost to Belmont in the tournie not too many years ago. Ditto with Richmond who we play on Tuesday night.
It rained all night, as far as I can tell. Of course we basically need forty days and forty nights of rain to get out of the drought.
Yay, got one "I can help" email back already. :)
God I hope this cold is gone or my singing is going to suck. It's going to be hard enough tomorrow but at least then it's the whole choir singing. Right, gotta practice that.
Should probably go have lunch. Not hungry, of course, but it's that time of day.
