Angry Birds is incredibly addictive.
My allergies suck today. Eyes are watering and itchy. Plus I'm tired. Bleh
Why are there so many Stiles as a demon fics?
I don't understand how anyone can not see Clint as Phil's "cellist" (y'know, bows?)
Why are the Royals incapable of winning series against the bad teams but stomp all over the ones going to the play offs? We're like 12-6 against the White Sox.
I'm not understanding how showing something on espn3.com is considered a live broadcast. Okay, it's live, but...
Not that I'll have time to watch KU tomorrow on my computer as mom's birthday present to me is coming over to help Fall clean the main level of the house. Plus a bookcase since I desperately need another one for all the books I haven't read yet that are in piles everywhere.
Everyone's talking about the wonderful balance on Glee between the old and the new and I'm like, huh? Rachel (and now Kurt) in NY with about three minutes each of Santana and Puck in the second ep (and only Rachel and Kurt in the first) do not equal all the kids in Glee being showcased. Where's Finn? Quinn? Mike? Mercedes? With the expanding cast of the high school kids, I don't see how this is going to ever be even, and, y'know, I'd actually prefer it if we just had the Glee kids in high school, but that may be due to the fact that Rachel and Kurt have never been my favorites.
I was majorly torn between the After Elton Derek/Stiles and Cas/Dean finale of slash pairings but then Cas/Dean won something last year so I've been voting for my new loves. I feel like I'm cheating...
Actually, my favorite Teen Wolf pairing is the much rarer and darker one of Peter/Stiles because give me a sassy/perverted older man and a teenager any day.
Boss is in hearings all day today but I have a lot of work, sadly.
Which I'm ignoring at the moment.
It's finally cooler here--70s--but still too dry.
Fall Equinox service this weekend. I have to find time to bake pumpkin/cranberry bread tomorrow.
Brother is taking us all on an Alaskan cruise next August. The dates are set! Now I just have to lose about 70 pounds...
Doable.
The twist on White Collar was not a surprise at all.
spn_reversebang's art prompt openings is at 2:00 a.m. tomorrow my time. Most likely I will not get a prompt as I'm not staying up that late with an early morning and day cleaning the house following. :(
I liked Revolution but, as many have said, they're way too clean and well-fed. And highly unlikely that Chicago would be liveable after 15 years--what with the million dead bodies to clear away... S.M. Stirling's Emberverse books does it much more realistically, but I'll keep watching.
Of the new shows I plan to watch, only one wasn't in TV Guide's top ten of what to watch and I'm only giving Beauty & the Beast a try. It's supposed to be really bad.
New shows I'll be watching: the aforementioned Revolution, The New Normal, 666 Park Avenue (it's the devil, what can I say, I have a kink), Last Resort (giving it a try, also a kink, small band of good guys going up against evil The Man), Arrow (duh), and Vegas (because, again, duh, one of my favorite places).
Haven's coming back tonight. Really enjoy that show. It's the little syfy show that could, kind of flying under the radar whereas Warehouse and Eureka always made splashes.
I have connected with my artist for the vampire BB and that is good. Now I just have to finish the darn thing.
Elektra moves her sleeping spot between the top of the DVR to the end back cushion of the couch several times a day. She'd smushed it down so much, I flipped it over. Now she doesn't like it anymore and has moved to the middle cushion which is where I put my arm sometimes.
Cats. *sigh*
Hopefully, tomorrow, when the front door is wide open as we move the old couch to the curb, she'll cower in the basement since grandpa will be here and won't dash outside.
Of course that means I have to clear off the old couch which is currently my comic book holder.
Need to pre-clean tonight.
Made a chocolate cake with that new white frosting that you mix in a flavoring (do not get the bubblegum flavor at all). I chose mocha. Quite yummy but the frosting does not set up at all. Kind of drippy, actually. And it's not like my house is hot anymore since the outside cooled off and it's been overcast a lot.
I told you this was random.
And rambling...so I'm going to go...
ETA: Oops, the one thing that I really wanted to mention, I forgot. Since some time last weekend, LJ has decided it doesn't need to send me any notifications. *sigh* Though that may be my suck email/ISP, too.
