I'm finally here (well, been here for over a day). After first having the flight canceled on Friday, I got to the KC airport bright and early Saturday to discover the same problem my dad did--that the authorization of the upgrade (from my brother) hadn't been "finalized", whatever the fuck that meant. Glad you made it! And having adventures already? I am jealous in the extreme.

Gotta admit, I much prefer Sainsbury's to Tesco's -- but then again, it's been six years since I was over there. Perhaps Tesco's has improved?

Erm . . . "Priscilla's giant shoe"? Explanation for those not in the know? Pictures? Anything? ;)

Over the years we've stayed in so many remote villages that we've learned to take whatever grocery they have. Tescos has good prepared foods and they're fine for the basics. A couple visits ago we stayed near a Waitrose--the gourmet grocer--yummmmmmmm!

Priscilla Queen of the Desert, the movie has been made a musical. I hope to get a decent picture of the pump lit up at night. *g*

Let's hope it keeps working because five flights are baddddd! Dad's lung disease does not go well with stair climbing.

But, yeah, having fun! It's supposed to cool off by mid-week and be more normal around 60.
