Less than 90 minutes!!!! *squeeeeee*

Actually, my two favorite shows come back tonight--naturally at the same time. *rolls eyes*

In other tv news, I continue to enjoy Ringer. I hope we see more of Siobhan, though. I was impressed with Ted Danson's character on CSI. I still miss Grissom but I never warmed to Langston. I already prefer Russell to him. Yay to the return of the team on Criminal Minds. Glee was interesting, great music as always. Vampire Diaries has turned me to fanfic--in that I'm actually interested enough to want to read fanfic because I'm completely drooling over Elena/Damon, which I always have, but it's really gotten intense. I finally realized who the actress is who plays gramma on Secret Circle which is still just okay for me.

I really like the Glee live tour cd. :)

I don't want to mow tomorrow. Also, most of the Big 12 (9, 8 fuck you MU whatever, you're not going anywhere) plays at 2:30 tomorrow right in the middle of a three hour meeting, and the MU/OU game is on pay per view tomorrow night. :P

So, the Big 12 (we need a new name or to add three teams because the Big 10 is stupidly named now) is holding together though MU did not commit as fully as the rest. I still don't want them to leave and most pundits around here don't think they're going anywhere--their failure to come out and fully commit is an attempt at leverage and, with OU and Texas firmly staying, they're the only school with the slightest bit at the moment, but they're not going anywhere. The SEC can have Texas A&M but they'd get their ass sued if they tried to poach MU in the next year or so. There are those who say KU needs to shop around because as soon as the Big 10 expands and might ask for MU, we should jump on that, too, but I LIKE the Big 12--right in the middle of the country. I don't want four mega conferences right now or in the near future. The travel for both players and fans is just onerous if we have to go to either coast all the time, especially for basketball. I'd like us to add say BYU, Colorado State or TCU and Air Force, keeping us still mostly in the midwest, and then split it east/west instead of north/south. Divide up Texas and OU, give both divisions more equality in quality for football (the north without Nebraska is the red headed step child) and basketball too. I'd give up our yearly rivalry with KSU to keep the one with MU.

Anyway, the last two weeks have been ridiculous. Can we just get back to playing sports? And, hey, KU signed a great bball recruit in all this mess so we still rock there. :)

Need to go make taco salad before tv starts. Been craving it.

No offense meant to my MU going LJ friends. I'm sure you've been ticked at KU for many things, too. ::Hugs::

stupid big 12, tv blather
