Wait a sec...the river is going to flood?
I know the Missouri is flooding up north and places like Atchison, on the Kansas/Missouri border are in danger, but apparently now it's going to back up on the Kaw!
Not that I live anywhere near the river and it's not going to be anything like the massive floods of '93 (which were from ark building rain).
Apparently it could start today as the river could crest above flood levels any time. Y'know, every day on weather.com there's a flood story update and NOTHING has been said about Kansas. Now when I clicked on my local weather the pollen watch has changed to three flood alerts in brilliant red.
In other news, my comic book store owner is PISSED about whatever the hell DC is doing. Like temple throbbing pissed. Because she has no idea what to order or how many! Understandable.
