Chariot

My question for now is: “Who am I today?"

I have pulled The Chariot from the Baroque Bohemian Cats’ Tarot as an image to reflect upon regarding my question.

Today we - my colleague and me - have decided that we will go through with our course on dreaming and tarot that starts on Thursday November 9th. We have hesitated a long time, but now we have decided we are satisfied that we are doing it. So, there I go on my golden chariot, on to victory.

The Chariot sometimes means ‘doing something out of sheer will-power’. I am very, very busy with my courses (I think I will never have again that many students as I have now, so I sever the moment). That means that I do not have much time, and that I am not relaxed at all. I am doing this only because I want it so much. I have my eye fixed on my ideal, standing on that chariot!

In some tarot-decks the chariot cannot go forward because it is too heavy, or because the wheels are not right. This means that another, inward journey is called for. Well, in this course, we -teachers- participate with our dreams just as the students, so I will get that inward journey that is called for! Although I do find working with dreams quite intense, especially in the combination with tarot, I am looking forward to that very much.
